Philippians 4:19 And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
One of the most difficult things to do is to separate our needs, our wants, and our desires. Many times, we list our wants and desires under the need column. The best way to define the difference is to let God make the decision. First, God supplies according to “his glorious riches”, and his resources are unlimited. Therefore, he gives us anything he chooses from either of the three categories – wants, needs or desires. The believer is not one who is without wants or desires. He just accepts what God gives him and appreciates it, no matter what category it comes under. Finally, by allowing God to make the decisions, we are assured the “need” category will always satisfied.
